Investment & Capital Corporation of the Philippines has successfully led Haus Talk Inc.’s debut in the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) last January 17, 2022. ICCP acted as the sole underwriter for this year’s first IPO where Haus Talk was able to raise P750 million from its initial offering of 500 million common shares.
HTI shares opened at P1.49 each from its offer price of P1.50 during trading hours and closed 6.67% higher at P1.60, after hitting an intraday high of P1.73. According to ICCP Managing Director Manny Ocampo, HTI’s shares were bought mostly by local stockbrokers and small investors including OFWs.
Haus Talk is a residential developer with projects in Laguna, Manila, Marikina, Antipolo City and Quezon City. Net proceeds from the offering will be used by the company mainly for land acquisition, project development, and for general working capital.
Haus Talk is one of the companies in PSE’s handholding program for potential IPO listing applicants, that aims to encourage more firms to go public. About 30 SMEs are included in the program where ICCP is also a partner.
