On January 30, 2020, PHINMA Solar officially turned over the system to SPPI representatives and LISP IV Operations team. Since the commencement of its operations, the 14 kilowatts (peak) solar panels provides about 90-100% of the building’s day-time power demand. It also comes with environmental benefits such as reduction in carbon dioxide equivalent to 48 trees planted and 0.35 tons of coal saved by using solar energy. As LISP IV expects more locators in the future, PHINMA Solar shall expand the solar installation up to 35 kilowatts (peak) to meet the increasing power demand.
