Business leaders and representatives from the public sector joined the officers and staff of the ICCP Group to commemorate the innovation, excellence, and pioneering achievements of the Group over the decades that have propelled its operations and in a number of cases contributed to economic growth and nation-building in the Philippines.

Investment Banking & Venture Capital

Investment & Capital Corporation of the Philippines (ICCP), one of the leading independent investment houses in the country, has consistently demonstrated leadership in the financial sector. It has earned accolades for facilitating groundbreaking transactions, including emerging sectors such as renewable energy and REITs.

Recent recognitions include its participation in the Philippine IPO of the Year award for Citicore Energy REIT from The Asset Triple A Country Awards (2023) and multiple awards for Alternergy Holdings Corporation from the Investment House Association of the Philippines (2024) – including Best Equity Deal of the Year, Best Advisory Deal of the Year, and Deal of the Year.

ICCP SBI Venture Partners (ISVP), a collaboration between ICCP Venture Partners of the Philippines and SBI Holding of Japan has supported high-potential enterprises such as rapidly growing tech companies in the U.S. and Southeast Asia, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.

Driving Industrial Growth and Cross-border Trade

Science Park of the Philippines, Inc. (SPPI), one of the country’s leading developers of economic zones, has developed over 1,200 hectares of industrial parks. Key milestones include recognition for Best Industrial Development for Light Industry & Science Park IV by PropertyGuru, the Green, Healthy, Smart, and Sustainable Ecozone Award from the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), and LEED Gold Certification for its administration building, underscoring its commitment to sustainable development.

World Trade Center Metro Manila (WTCMM) has cemented its status as the premier venue for international exhibitions and conferences. It is the first and only Philippine exhibition venue recognized by the Union des Foires Internationales for its world-class standards. It recently garnered the ASEAN MICE Standards award at the ASEAN Tourism Standards Awards (2024).

Innovative Real Estate Development

Pueblo de Oro Development Corporation (PDO) has garnered local and international recognition for its affordable and sustainable residential communities. More recent achievements include Best Township Development for Pueblo de Oro Townscapes Malvar by PropertyGuru, Developer of the Decade for Mindanao by the Chamber of  Real Estate Builders Association (CREBA), and Top Developer in South Luzon cited during Pag-IBIG Fund’s StAR Awards in 2024.

Meanwhile, Cadence Properties, the ICCP Group’s newest company established in 2022, also aims to develop residential and mixed-use projects in the country’s vibrant growth nodes.

Sustainability and Social Responsibility

ICCP Group Foundation, Inc. (IGFI) champions the Group’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, sustainability, and community welfare. Its initiatives include environmental protection efforts such as regular planting of mangroves, among others. Additionally, IGFI enhances its impact by delivering essential services to underserved communities. Through partnerships with renowned organizations, it implements impactful programs such as the Advanced Manufacturing Workforce Development (AMDev) program with USAID and the UNILAB Foundation, a Financial Literacy Program with BDO Foundation, and livelihood projects in collaboration with the Ang Hortaleza Foundation, Inc.

In 2024, IGFI was honored with the Outstanding CSR Collaboration Project award by the League of Corporate Foundations for its initiative – “Waste Management Made Easy: Establishment of Bantay-Kaagapay Advocacy Group for Community Waste Management” – in partnership with the Coca-Cola Foundation. This program empowers communities to manage waste efficiently, promoting sustainable and eco-friendly practices.

Looking Ahead

As the ICCP Group celebrates this 36-year milestone, it remains steadfast in its commitment to nation-building and sustainable development.

“It has been truly an exciting and challenging journey, and one that has been satisfying and rewarding not only in terms of corporate success but also in terms of a modest amount of nation building as well,” narrated ICCP Group Chairman Guillermo D. Luchangco.

“Now after 36 years, we look forward to more challenges and more excitement in the future,” Guillermo said. “I am particularly optimistic about the bright future and strong growth of the Philippines in the medium term, given the many opportunities and prospects that our country is seeing even now.”

By continuing to innovate and lead across its diverse businesses – guided by the principles of quality, integrity and ethics – the Group aims to create lasting positive impacts on the Philippine economy and its people.
