Pag-IBIG Fund …. recognized Pueblo de Oro Development Corporation (PDO) among the best performing developers and employers in Mindanao during its Stakeholders Accomplishment Report (STAR) in Cagayan de Oro City last April 26, 2019.
The Pag-IBIG STAR stems from the Pag-IBIG Fund Chairman’s Report held in Pasay City in January. It aims to distinguish organizations and individuals who contributed to the agency’s stellar performance.
“Pag-IBIG achieved another banner year in 2018 as our net income, loan releases, and payment collections broke previous records. We could not have done it all without the unrelenting support from our partner employers and developers. We conduct the STAR to recognize their efforts to help the Fund. We want to maintain the good business relationship with all our stakeholders as we work to heed the call of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte to provide working Filipinos with social benefits they deserve,” said Secretary Eduardo D. del Rosario, Chairperson of the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council and Pag-IBIG Fund Board of Trustees.
In Visayas, PDO has been a consistent Pag-IBIG awardee in terms of best loan takeout every year since 2014, and this yielded fruitful results both for PDO and Pag-IBIG.
“Overall, HDMF-financed houses represented 82% of the company’s total sales in 2018, amounting to over P1 billion in loan takeouts.” said PDO President Prim Nolido in a statement.
“Demand will remain strong for industrial estates in the country because of our fundamental advantages – foremost being the large available labour pool, whose median age is 23 years old,”
